A Büche de Noel is a traditional European dessert made to resemble a Christmas yule log. We're thrilled to offer a limited number of this classic cake again this year to our customers!
Created by Sandy Roth of Orchard View Confections, our Büche begins with a sweet roulade; a cocoa flavored genoise cake covered with luscious vanilla cream filling and rolled into a log shape. The roulade is iced with a rich chocolate hazelnut buttercream and draped in a decadent dark chocolate ganache. Meringue mushrooms and holly leaves are the delightful final touches to this festive and delicious dessert.*
Sandy Roth and her husband Steve ran Oldwick's beloved Oldwick General Store for 30 years. Sandy is a passionate and inspired baker who has been satisfying Tewksbury's sweet tooth for decades and now runs Orchard View Confections. We are honored to carry her cakes and cookies at Larger Cross.
