Alexandra Timchula is an American artist who lives and works in New Jersey and the Bahamas.  She graduated from Skidmore College in 1973 with a BA in Fine Art.  Her large-scale pastels explore the transformative effects of light, color and the passage of time in still life and landscape paintings alike.  Inspired by nature, Alexandra Timchula also works in three dimensional form with shells, melted plastic and other materials.
