Purple Striped Tulip Study by William Totten

Charming study depicting a purple striped tulip and insects inspired by similar 18th century works.  Framed in a bespoke 18th century-inspired black and gilt japanned wooden frames with a Regency-style ring for hanging.  Each painting is signed on the reverse by Bill.

Decorative painter, William Totten, has worked on projects up and down the East Coast, but the majority of his artistry can be found in the Somerset Hills of New Jersey and New York City. His fine art skills have created wall murals and decorated furniture and objects for decades in the area. Bill's old-school sensibility and techniques are a breath of fresh air in this era of disposable home furnishings.
