Scots Bitter from Les Collines

Les Collines Scots Bitter is made with Seville oranges, which are hand cut, soaked overnight, and simmered with pure cane sugar.  It is then finished with 10-year Laphroaig, one of the peatiest of the peaty Scotch Whiskies. A true bitter with a smoky finish that is wonderful with buttered anything, salty cheese like an aged Pecorino, nut butters, or as a glaze on a ham or pork chop. Pair it with our Sour Cherry Preserve for a perfect Manhattan or Old Fashioned.

Les Collines jellies and preserves are handmade in the hamlet of Hillsdale, nestled in the beautiful hills of Columbia County, New York. They source the bounty of the seasons from small farms in the Hudson Valley and Berkshires. Their flavors are all about the fruit and are preserved in small batches, with love.  Pair with savory foods as well as breakfast.
